Day 4 - Juice Feast

So yesterday was a little harder in the evening since I had to juice my evening's drinks.

I was so behind I ended up skipping my sweet drink and just going for the almond milk instead.

Today is my last day... tomorrow I'm easing back into food. Juice in morning and afternoon but normal lunch and dinner I think.

Today has been the hardest day.

Day 3 - Feeling good

Things I have noticed about my juice fast.

I'm feeling good all of the time. This week I can make it to Friday, but I have a team lunch I will get black bean roll ups. So still sorta healthy.

My neck seems to crack a whole lot.

I think I have lost 5 pound. Which is awesome. But I can't freaking tell cause my scale is all messed up.

When I told K. that I hadn't eaten food. He didn't believe me. Which is SO frustrating. He was like "Not even candy?" Argh. WTF. I have willpower and I choose to use it.

A friend of ours said a person only has a set amount of Will power. And you can never get more. SO people with weak will power will always give in if the pressure is too great.

Sailing through today without any issues.

My left shoulder/neck muscle is so tight. Not sure if that has anything to do with the juice. Might just be because I'm stressed today.

Day 2 Juice Feast - First day at work

I got to work super early today.

I made some hot tea... was able to not snack when I saw all the food at work. (Including M&Ms at my desk.)

It's now 12:00 and I am so hungry. Oof.

Here are my juices for the day: (From Right to Left)

Beet, Mean Green, Green Lemonade, Dr. Oz Green, Kaiju juice

Tonight is pool. That should be rough. I'm going to drink a juice before hand and water during. 

Drank the 1pm juice about 10 minutes early. Back to hot tea.  

I'll post about how this evening goes tomorrow.

Day one of Juice Feast

Day one:

Starting at 9:00 : Beet Juice to drink and then herbal tea to drink in between

11:00 ish I did the mean green drink. I added Turmeric to this one. It was a bit much. Oof.

More herbal tea. -- It's 12:20ish and I'm hungry. Going to drink some tea. Next is a sweet drink at 1:00. Ooof. So hungry.

1:00 had the green lemonade juice. I had to add honey to it. WAY WAY to sour. Needs more berries or something.

Took a nap after work. All seems to be good. I skipped the 3pm juice drink. And had my other green juice at 6:00.

It is now 8 and I'm hungry again. I wish I had almond milk. I ran out yesterday and the snow kept us in all day today.

It's nine now. I forgot... I should drink at 9. LOL I had tea instead. I'll get some juice now. My final sweet juice for the day.

All things being as they are... Today wasn't so bad. Tomorrow is the first night of pool. That is where I might have the most issues. Can't bring food in. Ooof.

New Year / New Me - Blah blah blah

You know the same shit you see from people every year. I'm not going to tell any of my friends about this page mainly. They have their own shit to deal with. They don't need to hear about how good or bad I'm doing losing weight.

So this year I'm the heaviest I've ever been. I want to lose weight. (Not tons.) Let's start with 10 pounds in 3-6 months. That seems very doable. In June we can reevaluated what else I need to do.

In the past I have had unhealthy eating habits. This time I'm going to focus on doing a juice feast and working out.

4-5 juices,  one good meal, good snacks throughout the day to keep off the hunger.

So far my juices are pretty limited but though this blog I would like to expand them.

Right now I have:

Two green juices

Dr. Oz Green Juice - (I add a garlic clove for mood) and it adds a little savory flavor to it.

One breakfast juice for energy:
Beet Juice:
One Beet
One lemon
Two apples
2 Carrots (9 baby carrots)
1/2 a cucumber
1 to 1/2 inch of ginger

And to stave off the sweet tooth. I have two juices for that

They all have a cucumber usually 1/2 cucumber
Berries:
Handful of:
Blueberries
Strawberries
Two Apples
1/2 lemon
